Born in a small Swiss town surrounded by beautiful lake and mountains. He grew up in a creative environment shaped by his parents’ love for craftsmanship, design, and travel.
After exploring technical drawings and architecture during 6 years, he embracing tattooing in 2013 under the mentorship of Seb Inkme in Perpignan.
His career has taken him around the world, with tattoo convention and guest appearances across Europe, Asia, Central America and recently Australia.​ His creations are deeply influenced by his journeys and his spiritual connection to Asia and particulary India.

Specializing in sacred ornaments, animals, and landscapes, His distinctive style transcend the ordinary tattoo idea , blending precise architectural lines with intricate textures that evoke timeless energy and spirituality. Each piece invites clients to step into the mystical world of Matik.

Matik is open to all types of tattoo projects, whether small pieces, full sleeves, back designs, or complete body work. ​​​​​
​​Matik’s passion extends beyond tattooing. A dedicated collector of Asian art, tantric paintings, masks, vintage t-shirts and old indian flashs/machine. In 2018, he founded Kitam Bazaar with his friend Rashid in Kathmandu, a boutique offering vintage clothing, hats, unique embroidery and accessories and treasure from his adventures.

He also channels his artistic vision through 35mm film photography, specializing in double exposures that merge 2 pictures in one,landscapes, people, and sacred rituals into striking, dreamlike images.

These photographs, exhibited internationally, reveal the raw beauty and spirituality of his journeys around this beautiful world.​ Some of his photographic works are available as prints or showcased in exhibitions, offering a window into his personal journey and global perspective.​
